A guide to suit fabrics
What each fabric in our studio feels like, how it drapes and when to wear it — from breathable cotton for every day to dola silk jacquard and jam satin for weddings and Eid. Every set is unstitched, so your tailor can cut it to your exact fit.
Everyday wear
Cotton
Cotton is a natural fibre that breathes and absorbs sweat, which is why it is the first choice for daily wear through long Indian summers. It is easy to tailor, softens with every wash and does not cling.
In our sets
Every piece — top, bottom and dupatta, plus a cotton inner (lining) in most sets — is cotton, so the whole set stays light and comfortable.

Pure cotton cambric (Pakistani-style suits)
Cambric is a fine, closely woven plain cotton with a smooth face and a slight sheen. The tight weave holds prints and embroidery crisply, which is why it is the classic base for Pakistani-style printed suits.
In our sets
A cambric print top with gala (neckline) embroidery and daman and sleeve work, a dyed pure cotton bottom and a printed cotton mulmul dupatta.

Viscose dola silk jacquard
Dola silk is a viscose fabric with a soft, silk-like lustre and a heavier, richer fall than plain viscose. Jacquard means the pattern is woven into the cloth on the loom rather than printed on top, so it shows on both sides and does not fade with washing.
In our sets
A dola silk jacquard top with Swarovski work, a matching jacquard box dupatta with four-side piping and a viscose rayon bottom.

Jam satin
Jam satin is a satin-weave fabric with a smooth, glossy face and a fluid drape. The sheen catches light, so it suits evening functions and works well under foil prints and handwork.
In our sets
A jam satin top with discharge foil print, full handwork and Swarovski detailing, a pure cotton bottom and a modal discharge print dupatta with tassels.

Muslin silk jacquard
A light muslin base with a woven jacquard pattern and a silky finish. It feels lighter than dola silk but still looks festive, which makes it comfortable for long wedding days.
In our sets
A muslin silk jacquard top with a santoon inner, a santoon bottom and a matching muslin jacquard dupatta. Santoon is a smooth, soft-sheen fabric often used for linings and bottoms.
